Keep Art in Your Heart Summer Workshop

Keep Art in Your Heart is holding its first summer workshop at the Greater Denton Arts Council in Denton Tx. The workshop is open to all teachers in all grade levels in Denton Tx to learn new and creative ways to use art in the classroom to help students learn and retain knowledge. The workshop is a two week class from 1:00 - 2:30 pm Monday thru Friday beginning July 7th-18th. There is a $20.00 supply fee. Art methods presented will include drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, paper mache, and clay in the classroom. No artistic talent is needed. Just a passion for teaching and a desire to learn creative ways to teach in the classroom. Please come join us!
